Review for Country Ayr Motel in Ayr

The location of Country Ayr Motel is fantastic and conveniently situated near the Entrance Heritage Walk. We enjoyed our meals at the wonderful on-site restaurant, which offered delicious options for breakfast and dinner at reasonable prices.

the location was lovely, easy walk to the theatre and overlooking garden. the staff were very helpful and the pool area was lovely.

Everything was lovely here - very helpful staff and neat rooms. The restaurant was terrific for dinner, we ordered fresh dishes. A mini-fridge-bar, an air conditioning, and an individual safe were a huge plus. The location was good for walking around The Entrance Town Centre. The hotel was an excellent place for enjoying a safe area...

This place is super convenient, being just a short walk from the train station, downtown, and the Peppers restaurant. Last time we stayed, our room was modern and in really good shape. 👍.

The location was fantastic, right near the Peppers restaurant and close to shops, pubs, and clubs in the town center. It was also convenient to have Cold Rock nearby, especially for grabbing pastries on a hot day. 🍰.

We stayed in a double room that featured a clean bathroom. the employees were efficient and friendly. the location of the property was great, right near the Peppers restaurant and just a short walk from the town centre and Australia.

The breakfast at Country Ayr Motel was a delightful surprise. They delivered a delicious cooked breakfast right to my room, and it was not only tasty but also beautifully presented. The attention to detail, like the fluffy towels and wide selection of toiletries, made my stay extra comfortable. The staff were friendly and ensured that I felt safe and relaxed as a solo female traveler. I highly recommend this motel for its excellent service and comfortable amenities.

A nice bonus was having a verandah to relax on here. It's a good spot to set off for adventures nearby. the townsville airport wasn't too far away, which was convenient. And, can't forget the pool - we had a blast splashing around! 🏊‍♂️

Convenient location, very clean room, and comfortable bed. I liked that the room was spacious and had a dark ambiance, which was perfect for sleeping after a long business trip. the breakfast was quite good, with a variety of items to choose from and quick delivery to the room. the hotel's surrounding area was full of great places to eat, and it was easy to walk to town for any other needs.

The shower set up could use some improvement to prevent the vanity area from getting wet. there were a couple of bed lights that weren't working, making it a bit difficult to read at night.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast was always cooked fresh and delicious. The staff were super friendly and helpful with our queries, and the room was always neat and tidy. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring the local area, with many shops and eateries within strolling distance.

Sadly, the milk and coffee in the room were a bit lacking - we would have preferred a nicer brand or maybe even some fresh milk. The shower wasn't the best design either, as we found it difficult to keep the floor dry.
